You are the only one who will have to put yourself out there!!! You never know who is on lookout to hire a confident woman to demonstrate her skills and initiative in this domain.

Remember the good thing about public speaking is you set yourself apart from the crowd and give a reason to all to come and talk to you. The person who stands up and shares knowledge gets to tell a story that your resume / profile never will.
